Fotograf begleitete Hilfsorganisation in Nepal ( Lokalzeit OWL )

Der Herforder Fotojournalist Jürgen Escher arbeitet schon seit über 30 Jahren als Fotograf in aller Welt. Gerade hat er ein Team der Hilfsorganisation Cap Anamur in Nepal in begleitet, das in den vom Erdbeben zerstörten Gebieten ein Nothilfe-Projekt gestartet hat. Kurz vor dem zweiten schweren Erdbeben, das die Region jetzt erschütterte, ist er nach Herford zurückgekehrt. Mit seinen Fotos aus dem nepalesischen Erdbebengebiet dokumentiert er das Leid der betroffenen Menschen, aber auch den Willen, ihr Leben neu aufzubauen.

Herforder photo journalist Jürgen Escher already works for over 30 years as a photographer all over the world. Just he has accompanied a team of the relief organisation Cap Anamur in Nepal in which has begun an emergency aid project in the areas destroyed by the earthquake. Shortly before the second heavy earthquake which shook the region now he has returned to Herford. With his photos from the Nepalese seismic zone he documents the grief of the affected people, but also the will to build up her life anew.
